New business model

I have recently been involved in a business venture where we had two business models running concurrently. Model A was inhouse manufacturing while model B was outsourcing manufacture. The industry is furniture and we are trained industrial designers. Our expertise is in design and it has been a year of running both models for a conclusion to be made. We will continue operations with model b only, giving us more time to focus on what is important to our business and more importantly our values. I hope others read this and see a message that it is very important to stay focused on what you set out to achieve, we have explored an avenue that does not entirely suit who we are. Nothing is lost and everything is gained. New focus and new directions are very important always analyse what you are doing and get as many opinions as you can.
